Whatโs something most people donโt know about you?
Most people don’t know that whenever I talk to people in public or give a speech on stage to an audience, I become so nervous. Most of them walk up to me and applaud me for a great speech.
Some come up to say “oh, I love the way the words flow from your mouth” and so on.
But what they don’t actually know is that I go through lot of praying and fasting not to actually fall down from stage due to nervousness ๐ Sometimes, I fidget during those talks but I just find a way to cover it up and continue.
In a world where instant gratification is often prioritized, waiting for the right person can feel like a daunting and unpopular choice. We’re constantly bombarded with messages telling us to seize the moment, to take what’s ours, and to never settle. But what if the most rewarding decision we can make is to wait for someone who truly deserves us?
The value of patience
Waiting for the right person isn’t just about passing time; it’s about investing in ourselves and our future. It’s about recognizing our worth and refusing to settle for anything less. When we prioritize patience, we open ourselves up to the possibility of meeting someone who will love and appreciate us for who we are.
Self-Discovery
The waiting period can be a transformative time for self-discovery. It’s an opportunity to focus on personal growth, to explore our passions, and to develop a deeper understanding of what we want and need in life. By taking the time to get to know ourselves, we become more confident, more self-assured, and more prepared for a healthy relationship.
Red flags and Deal-breakers
When waiting for the right person, it’s essential to be aware of red flags and deal-breakers. These can include:
Lack of respect or communication
Dishonesty or manipulation
Disregard for boundaries or consent
Emotional or physical abuse
Recognizing these signs can help us avoid toxic relationships and prioritize our own well-being.
The Right person will wait too
Someone who is genuinely interested in us will be willing to wait and invest in getting to know us better. They’ll respect our boundaries and prioritize our feelings. When we meet someone who values us in this way, we’ll know that it’s worth the wait.
Take your time
Waiting for the right person requires patience, self-awareness, and a deep understanding of our own worth. It’s not always easy, but it’s often the most rewarding decision we can make. By prioritizing our own growth and well-being, we open ourselves up to the possibility of meeting someone who will love and appreciate us for who we are. So, take your time, focus on yourself, and trust that the right person will come along when the time is right.
